About Connect Nation

Connect Nation is a dynamic non-profit organization deeply rooted in Edmonton’s cultural tapestry. Established in 2017 as a grassroots initiative and now flourishing as a dedicated non-profit, our mission revolves around the celebration and promotion of cultural diversity in this vibrant city.

Promoting Cultural Diversity

Since our inception in 2017, first as a grassroots initiative and now as a non-profit organization, our work has been dedicated to celebrating and promoting cultural diversity in Edmonton. Over the past 5 years, we have successfully organized numerous culturally focused events, workshops and seminars. Our initiatives have brought together diverse communities, creating dialogue, understanding and collaboration spaces. Our previous work includes highlighting the positive impact on community cohesion, capacity-building programs for entrepreneurs and cultural appreciation.

Previous Collaborations

As part of our commitment to collaboration, we have established partnerships with local organizations, including Africa Centre, the Nigerian Canadian Association of Edmonton,  Government of Alberta, City of Edmonton and the Ribbon Rouge Foundation. These collaborations were designed to enhance the impact of our programs by leveraging the expertise and network of established community organizations. We aim to create a more unified and inclusive cultural landscape in Edmonton through joint efforts.
